My pride and joy - A 1964 Sunbeam Alpine.

Its very special in the fact that its only done 53,000  miles around 5,000 of those in the past 15 years!

We take it out as often as we can, but this is usually just  on   fine days ( here in Scotland that’s not all that often! )

They are really hard to find in this condition and such low mileage so its great to see cars like this still around on our roads, When we head back to New Zealand it will be packed up and shipped back with the rest of our worldly good.

Be great to hear from other petrol heads!

A quick Toshiba NB100 Netbook Review.

A quick Toshiba NB100 Netbook Review.

Hi Guys,

As most of you know I’m a tech geek through and through, and of course this extends to netbooks as well ( you’ll know from my advent 4123 review )

Well ive moved on fro the Advent to the some-what unheard of Toshiba NB100.

I have had the NB100 for a few weeks now and it’s proven to be a fantastic little machine.  Little is really the key word here, its much smaller than the 4123 and also all other netbooks on the market

But in saying that it’s still really feature rich, below are just a few examples of the features:

  1. Bluetooth ( not all models )
  2. Wifi120BG hard Drive
  3. 1GB ram

So for such a tiny device it’s really well spec’ed

Now with most reviews of hardware you want to know how much it all costs, Well I was really surprised, here in the UK its only £249, which is pretty good compared to the likes on the Samsung NC10 and a few others.

Yes the keyboard is smaller, but in no way is it hard to use, even to someone with bigger fingers.

But the highlight for me is its weight, at just under 1kg its super light for a hard drive based netbook, much much light than even the Advent 4213

Anyone else got one? Please leave a comment if you have one and let me know what you think, would love to hear from you.
